I just got this message on my other account after attempting to "list a similar item" that just ended tonight. I don't even have another one of these currently up for auction... so what is the problem with listing another one now that the other auction closed???
" You can not submit your listing due to the following problems
Attention Seller:

roadsmith- are you asking if my account is older than 30 days? if so, yes... it is. the account is about 9 months old, has a feedback rating of 91 with about 200 completed transactions (what does that say about how great ebay's feedback system is working!).
i have never had this problem before, so i find it quite odd. what is more strange is that i had 5 auctions last week that i listed where the ship to countries were listed as "worldwide" when my default is Canada, UK, USA. This was one of them. I also received an email during the middle of last week that ebay removed a suspicious bid from my auction. I also had a problem with someone in Taiwan that kept trying to bid on it and I had to remove him from bidding once, emailed him why, and he went back and bid again (i forgot to block him and he sniped it)... auction closed sunday night, and guess what??? i haven't heard from him. this is very odd, and I cannot imagine that ebay would block this auction b/c someone bid on it that was suspicious.

Hmm. I was thinking that we can relist an item older than 30 days. That's probably incorrect. That's what I was referring to in my question, not about your accounts but about the items themselves.

I tried to do a "sell similar item" listing... maybe I should drop this into my vendio inventory since I have several of them. It is very odd that I got this message though, and not so odd that I have yet to get a response from ebay about it.

It's a very common thing to have happen these days, and is primarily aimed at designer items and such with a high chance of counterfeiting.
The items and the limits are some super-secret Ebay proprietary thing, and Ebay refuses to tell you how many items you ARE allowed to list because they feel it violates some security thing. And they refuse to post a list of what items are subject to this limitation.
Even high feedback long-time powersellers have run into these restrictions.
A very few sellers have been able to get these limits lifted by contacting Ebay and providing receipts or other proof that these are real and authentic items. IF they raise your limits, they won't tell you what the NEW limits are.

A week later and still no reply from ebay.
So, today my auctions on my other account end and I relist them... or so I thought. I find that half of the listings didn't launch. They were blocked!!!
I look at them and find that all of them are Nike jerseys. So, I go remove the word "Nike" from the title and they launch.
I am calling eBay about this tomorrow. I have a feeling this has to do with the guy who after having a jersey for over 6 weeks is now claiming it is counterfeit. I even went as far as to email him and tell him to return it to me for a refund... no reply.
