Did anyone else lose most of their "unsold" items in the new My eBay? Yesterday I had about 306 items I needed to relist and today it's showing 40. What a mess.

Were your closed listings over 60 days old?

I don't see the new "My Ebay". I copied URL of an older version and it still works (crossing fingers it doesn't change).
Can you adjust the length of time to display unsolds with a drop down? If you select "All" i think you should see them going back 90 days.

I decided to start using the new one a few days ago, and it's awful! When I click to open it, I go and make a cup of coffee or something because it takes so long to download, and I have the hardest time scrolling. If I want to open one of my auctions, I have a long wait when I close it again. I wrote to eBay and they told me how to enable JavaScript, but when I went to do it, it was already done, so that is no help. Our computer is only 6 months old, and very fast for everything else.

I agree, scrolling is terrible. Very slow and jerky.

The old my ebay page changed over to the New my ebay page automatically, How do I change it back to the old My Ebay?
There are no pics of the items that are on auction with the new My Ebay, how do I get them to show up.

Everyone has been complaining on the boards all week. The new page is so slow and clumsy that both buyers and sellers are up in arms.
I had intended to post a link to the My Ebay forum but I can not even get the ebay boards to come up now. Can anyone else get in? did eBay disable the boards so we can't complain any more?
Congrats ebay! You finally won your game of game of Russian Roulette

toni...under the EDIT button on the upper right...you can customize the items showing. photos id# etc...there are several that are required and can't be removed. As for scrolling...easier if on 25 or so items per page.
If you set it up for SUMMARY, you can collapse the ones you don't use (unsold, etc.)

you're welcome toni
really isn't that bad...still up in the air with the QUESTIONS on the items. In a way those are good because if you only use your email to answer questions, this kind of helps remind you.
the other worthless part is the buyers feedback number and %....what a joke...like this is a true number anymore....
curious on the "ADD A NOTE" ...what is that for????
neglus...just pullup the SOLD from the left and customize it. You are able to do the LAST 24 HOURS...then resave it in your favorites. As for the BIDS...the OLD EBAY -- STOPPED showing those awhile ago...you may have had 15 bids on an item but on the sold page, it only showed 1.
...as for the bids. If you are talking about current items sellling, then you would need to use the SUMMARY page, collapse everything except for SOLD & SELLING. On the selling, click the BID column twice and it will bring the items that have bids to the "top" of the listing

Well, according to eBay, 85% of sellers were using it! I haven't seen ONE positive comment from a seller yet! All the forums are saying how much they hate it. I usually check My eBay several times a day, today, I didn't even want to bother, too much hassle.

Forgive my typos that I have been trying to catch! My computer died and I am using my DH laptop and can't get used to the keyboard.
To anyone who is making some headway with this debacle called 'My EBay' please tell me if it is the Selling Manager that is the new My EBay.

otter....???????
MY EBAY is still there(upper right hand side)...just click SUMMARY and customize the sections you want and ADD to your FAVORITES...
Once you take the five to ten minutes to customize it, really isn't much different from old version. If using the rotary dial phone, you may want to cut down on the extras(photos, items per page, etc.) to let the page scroll and work faster....

I know it sounds insane but I keep clicking the upper right link to My EBay that has always been there and it takes me to the Selling Manager Summary.
Once there I try the link on the upper left to My EBay that has always been there and it just refreshes the Selling Manager page.
That's why I am convinced that I have not yet seen the new page as I cannot get there!

What is it with eBay that they seem to go out of their way over and over again to piss off as many people as possible? Hasn't anyone told the eBay management morons that we are in a severe recession and they should try extra hard to be nice to their customers, that is the ones they still have left?
I honestly think there must be some sort of contest going on at eBay headquarters to see how quickly they can totally destroy the business.
AOL had 30 million paying customers, they treated them like the scum of the earth, even though AOL is now free to most they still have lost 25 million of their customers and almost all of the market cap of the company. What is it with management morons that they never learn the central importance of being nice to their customers?

There is a way to speed up the time eBay takes to load pages - provided you are using FireFox. Download the free AdBlock Plus extension and disable all the unnecessary javascript loaded by ebay such as:
http://include.ebaystatic.com/categoryjs/88/en_US_MAIN/category_88en_US_MAIN0.js
http://include.ebaystatic.com/v4js/en_US/e599/GlobalNavVjoOpt23_EbayR2_e5997780312_1_en_US.js
http://include.ebaystatic.com/v4js/en_US/e599/MyEbayV4App_MyEbayBeta_e5997780312_3_en_US.js
http://include.ebaystatic.com/v4js/en_US/e599/MyEbayV4App_MyEbayBeta_e5997780312_6_en_US.js
http://include.ebaystatic.com/v4js/en_US/e599/SYS_vjo_e5997780312_1_en_US.js
Next, try reloading your My eBay page to see if it's faster. If features are no longer working enable the above javascripts one at a time to find which one slows the page loading speed. The same technique can be used to load up other pages on eBay or any other website. I'd also recommend the Flashblock and NoScript extensions to speed up page loading times as they prevent unnecessary or optional page elements from being loaded.

I can't remember which changes they were, but in the past when eBay were thinking of introducing something new, they did a survey to see what sellers thought about it. Surely that is good business sense. If your customers don't like it, then what is the point of introducing it!!

amber, I think that was what the Beta testing was for and in the My Ebay discussion board they seem to have received over 3800 comments. I scanned them and saw nothing positive.
Today the Boards are just loaded with negative comments.
Bottom line they are far too arrogant to listen.
Me...I am just curious to see the new page that I still cannot access.

Otteopp - I fiddled around with Customize this page and ended up with something that LOOKS like My Ebay only totals are on left column and I don't think the view "Items with Bids" sticks so I have to change every time but it's much better then the Sales Manager view (I don't need that since I use Vendio post sale). I can't seem to get it to show more than 25 items however. You can even change the colors so you don't have to see that ugly yellow. I think I clicked on "Summary" to get started but I don't remember.

thanks for the help rhpepsi - i have it almost right now - even got it to display in blue instead of yellow. My view now does show number of bids too but I can't get the display of just items with bids to stick and have to choose it from the drop down every time

RH pepsi - how do you "add to my favorites"? I don't see where that is.
jtomp - if you click on "MY EBAY" at the top of every ebay page you can get a drop down. If you choose "Selling" you can customize by adding pictures to display. I couldn't get this to "Stick" to summary pages though.

neglus;
ADD TO FAVORITES; I was referring to adding them to your INTERNET EXPLORER favorites. If you use IE7 it is the STAR with the "+" in the upper left corner. This way the same page with your settings will come up.
