I have to do a partial refund. It is suppose to be on the Transaction Details page. But I don't see it any where. I see everything about the transaction but the refund tab. Can you help?

It isn't there. Is it because it doesn't appear to have been sent yet on the page? It shows it paid but not sent. It was sent and received two weeks ago. Any ideas?

It's been paid for. It even shows that it's paid, but not shipped. Am I going to have to call PayPal to get this straightened out? I've always heard that it takes forever to get through.

I had one like that, and I found out it was because they had used a gift certificate for part of the payment.

Could it be because I don't use prepaid shipping or labels? I make out my own labels and take packages to the post office. I wondered if it had anything to do with that My Ebay console that I don't use. I'm really hoping to not have to call Paypal.

I would vote that it is COUPON /CERTIFICATE payment method....buyer trying to redeem for cash...is why Paypal doesn't allow refunds..
Second common reason is that it may be past a certain amount of time...

I called the 1-888-221-1161 for Paypal this morning. There must be an easier way to get through. Nothing on the menu seemed to pertain to my problem. Finally, I said "Help!" and a real person came on. She couldn't figure it out so she switched me to her supervisor. After she left the line a couple of times to check, she told me it was a glitch with my account. My words, not hers. Basically, that is what she was telling me. She told me just to use the "Send Money" feature. I questioned her on that because I think they are a stickler for details. I did put in the message box exactly what it was for and the Ebay number. She never mentioned a certificate or coupon of any kind. I still wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I don't use their shipping label feature.
