I just starting printing and paying for UPS labels with paypal. I love the ease of the transaction but I keep seeing charges pop up later that I can't tell what they are or if I can track it down - it's very time consuming.
Does anyone here use paypal and UPS? If so, how do you keep track of it?
Help!!! TIA

You mean days after you printed the UPS label on Paypal, you see UPS charging you more?
Some are fuel charges ,some are extra efforts if the buyer lives in an apt complex and it takes extra efforts for the driver to get inside the complex and find that specific apt unit.
May be someone can shed insight on it.

I noticed this last year. I called Paypal and they explained this way: When you print up a UPS label..Paypal takes the money in contemplation of UPS deducting it. It puts the money on "hold". IF UPS is slow to take the money..and they always are...the money eventually reverts back to your account. When UPS finally claims the money, Paypal then once again takes it from your account. I hope this is clear for you.

The last charge was for $7.50 and I don't have a clue what it is. No tracking information of any kind attached to it.
I called UPS and they say they can't tell me unless I have a tracking number. Duh if I had a tracking number I wouldn't need to call them now would I?? They say call paypal.
I called paypal and after a good 20 minutes on hold - I was told that they don't know what it was for so I have to call UPS?
I don't know if the discount is worth all this hassle
annekila - I see what you are talking about - you have 3 different entries for one label. The first is pending but deducted. Then they add it back to the account and then deduct it again. That fine, even if somewhat confusing, as it shows the tracking so I know what it is. But unidentified charges - not so great.

Yes..it can be VERY confusing..especially if you empty your account every week or so, and get an email from Paypal that you are short money and have to put it back in!

Why not open your own UPS account?? You can process shipping labels from your account and not have to go through any BS with Paypal & their accounting situations.

I'm going to check into later today.
But I did one price comparison and it was $20 less to do it with paypal. That's a pretty good savings. It did go down on the UPS site if I checked that I had a daily pick up.
I don't ship everyday. Is there a way to get that rate?
annekila - I feel like I just got robbed. I had over $165 worth of charges taken out yesterday. I never saw when they put it back in to my paypal account but they had. It just felt like I had paid it twice. I don't care for this too much. LOL

hard to believe Paypal can save you 20 dollars ?
Could it be possible PAYPAL has an account with UPS and get gigantic discount?

HWAHWA - I just did another comparable and with paypal it was $21 - UPS Website - $36.
That's really not bad. I just wish I could come up with some type of account system to keep track of this.
