I'm new to Vendio - signed up to get the free webstore. I can't even find where I go to set this up? Is there a tutorial somewhere? Thank you.

Try posting your question in the Vendio Sales Manager area of "Community." The moderators there are very helpful. (And some look at this board, too.) Good luck! I'd like to hear the answer as well.

Hello muppetvintage,
To get started, click the 'items' tab at the top of your Vendio page, then go to the 'Store Designer' to get started. This will walk you through the initial setup of your storefront.
When your ready to start placing inventory into your store, go also to the 'items' tab and click 'create items' to get started.

Christopher - thank you. I did get this far but what confused me was the store url. As I understood the free webstore - there was supposed to be a stand alone webstore without "vendio" anywhere in the url.
So the first page wants you to enter the name of your store and the url is going to be http://stores.beta.vendio.com/yourstorename. This made me think there must be more than one type of store and I didn't want to go any further.
A bit further into the setup you will be able to edit your 'your store's hosting' section and switch it from being a subdomain to getting the directions for setting it up on your own webhosting server.
Server system requirements: (provided by most web hosting providers)
Required Operating System: Linux
Required Web Server: Apache
Required PHP: PHP 4.3 or higher

Christopher- I know us old timers have to wait a bit but I have a question - are items listed in more than one place at once? Do you/Will you have a way to migrate eBay listings to Vendio store?

Hello Neglus,
You will have the option of having one item listed on more than one marketplace at a time. There isn't a "one step" process to move items from your eBay store to your Vendio Store, but it is possible to migrate the items from the one store to the other.
