I had a couple of items sell from my store yesterday and received payment from Paypal. This morning I had messages to say that the bids on these items had been canceled, but the messages were not in My eBay, and they didn't have my name, just "community member" so I was sure they were spam. However, when I went to my store and clicked on the items, it says that the buyer is no longer registered.
I don't want to mail the package today if there is a problem. Has anyone else had something like this happen? Am I safe to mail if the payment is in Paypal?

You should contact your buyer.

I would wait to ship. Maybe even call ebay/paypal to see what's going on. It could be a hijacked account and the paypal payment could later be reversed.

Yes, that's good advice, I'll do that. I just checked my seller account, and the auctions and fees are still there. I haven't mailed the package, the buyer had 90 positive feedback, of course, now no buyers have any negs., so you can't tell if they are likely to have been suspended for non payments.

The biggest mistake many people make is they go to their ebay pages for info.
You need to go to PayPal directly for info on this. Who cares what eBay says? They don't control the money. PayPal does. Go to PayPal and click on the transaction details. See if the transaction has been reversed there. My guess it probably will be, but all of your inquiries need to be done there. Not eBay.
