Is it just me or did ebay just die. I've had 2 offers all month on my main ID and most of my auctions don't have any watchers at all.
Last month my sales were great up to the 31st but nothing since. When I looked at my Seller's Dashboard - I didn't have any ratings. Maybe I dropped to the bottom 10% or something and just don't know it.

You might be able to attribute this to tax season.

Sure, except that April 15 was a week and a day ago.

My sales increased dramatically on April 16, just like they do every year.

Of course, I'm also advertising on eBay, with 16 sales to date due to that.

Business is pretty good for me, the sales have been there. March was overall a slow month, but it was ebay that really carried the weight that month.

Also, lots of people, my area did, had spring vacation last week, usually the week after Easter.

My had much higher than normal sales the last week of March and then zero sales April 2 -6 . Sales surges are not that unusal around the end of the month for us but almost a week of no sales is. My search ranking stays high with DSRs averaging 4.9 so I never did determine what caused to the lul. Was busy with taxes so I did not mind the quiet time!

Income tax and property tax time, and a weak economy... page views are extremly weak...

April is the slowest month for all retail - usually March is my stronget month and allows for the April slowdown - but March never really got in to full swing.

Spring break, Easter and taxes are sales killers - but when the weather breaks like it did here - everyone wants to be outside.

Update - I sold one more auction item and got an nice offer on a BIN.
Auction item still has not paid and BIN said she didn't want the item as she didn't know there would be shipping cost involved???
So I'm still were I was a week ago. I'm sure taxes, the weather and the economy all have something to do with it.
I still don't have any DSR rating on my seller's Dashboard but DSR themselves are all 4.9's or 4.8's.
I checked my 2008 sales report and it was low as well but twice what it is so far this year.
Five more days will tell.
