I have a good standing eBay account for 10 years now. It's not directly associated with my business, but I've used it to sell refurbished units and excess parts inventory. But most is personal purchases/sells. How important/helpful on setting up a new Vendio Platform store is it to have an established eBay account? Any advantage with the existing eBay Feedback rating? If I tie my existing eBay account to Vendio, can I still use the eBay account directly to sell/purchase personal items?
Thanks.
It doesn't matter either way when opening a Vendio Store if the eBay account is associated with your Vendio account. The eBay feedback rating has no affect on your Vendio Store.
You may still sell/purchase items directly through eBay with the eBay account, even if the account is associated with your Vendio account. The main reason, however, that you would associated your eBay account with your Vendio account would be if you are using Vendio to list your eBay items (or if you are using Vendio for any of our other eBay specific services).

Because it doesn't make a difference which way you go. My suggestion would be to work up a catchy name for your Vendio store. a name that relates to the product and sticks in the customers head like the name of their 1st love or an old rock song.
