I have huge problems just trying to list a "simple" ebay auction. I just signed up with Vendio and I am not so sure about this service. I can't list a simple auction??? Anyone else?
I have just sent you a quick getting started guide that will walk you through the initial steps of getting your account ready and starting to list your items onto eBay.
Feel free to reply to that or the other emails you sent in on this subject, or let us know via the Vendio services forum if you have any other questions located here: http://www.vendio.com/mesg/list.html?num=70

purplerain - you will love it. I have used it for about 9 yrs. All the pictures you want with no extra charge from Ebay. Easy to use and great support from the Vendio people
welcome!

purplerain123 - I use Sale Manager Pro and it's a breeze. You can even work off line.
Once you have everything set up - you will love it.

I love using Vendio's SM Pro. Once you have it set up, you'll find it much much quicker than using ebay's system to launch auctions. Alot of info is pre-set and you can set up many templates if you sell similar items. You get a free store which is great to drive additional customers to. You can link your store to your own website if you have one.
If you check out my website, www.shagmidcentury.com you will find the Vendio store by clicking on "New Products" which we sell online only using Vendio's free store. The store has a checkout and leads customers to make payments using Paypal, or other sources.

hi
boy i, too, was pulling my hair out of my head with the vendio format.
i hope they streamline and change a few things, but here is what i learned and i hope it helps:
when you go to "create item" everything (unfortunately) is on one page and it is maddening. I think it is choking.
But remember: the top section is for your store item info. If you just want to list somethign on ebay, go down, all the way down to the bottom where it says "ebay" and click on that plus sign and enter in your ebay description.
it will automatically put the same description into the store form above it. (check "not visible in store" if you don't want to list it in your store.)
everything for the ebay listing is on the bottom. you have to work your way up filling in the shipping, paypal etc.
It is difficult because of letting us choose, they put it all on one form. It is too formatted. I think sometimes they try to make it too easy, so easy it puts people in a corner, less flexibility. All of them overdo it trying to make it simple they are too formatted. I like to go fast simple and set my own html if i want or decide when to put in my photos (usually after the description, no? )
Not here. the first thing you do is put up the images because they are entered when you put the info in for the store, and that form starts at the top of the page.
As counterintuitive as it sounds, think from the bottom up. go to the bottom, that's where the ebay form starts.
i got some help so that's how i learned it, otherwise i would be banging on my keyboard.
good luck,
gmt
