I have 2 auctions - one ended and one ending in a few hours with the same buyer(so far). I've already sold to this buyer once with no problems at all.
These 2 auctions are listed on 2 different ID's (long story). Should he win the second one, would combining the shipping on the 2 be a problem. Different ID's but same paypal and I plan to send them both registered mail. I offered free shipping on both so that shouldn't be an issue. I'm really feeling the need to mail them separate but I don't know why.
The items are both high valve but small in size.
TIA

If you use PayPal multi-order shipping and he pays for both items from the same PayPal account, you should be able to combine them with no problem. It would not matter which ID he purchased them under because the shipping addresses would be the same.
Then again, I have had regular customers who order and have their items ship to different addresses so be sure he does indeed want them both sent to the same address.
If he pays from different paypal accounts, no way would I combine ship them.

I wasn't going to use paypal shipping at all. For one thing I need to insurance for over $500 and I don't think you can do registered mail from paypal - can you?
I just took his last order in to the post office and mailed from there.
I would do the label on line and then take it in to add the additional insurance and registered mail but the post office always seems to get really confused when you add stuff after the fact. The last time I added more insurance to a package the postal clerk taped a new bar code over my label so I lost my DC and tracking. It worked out fine but it could have gone the other way if the buyer was dishonest.
