I received an email from eBay today with all the changes. I do not understand them or maybe I don't want to. I sold 3 items about a month ago and it was over a year before that. But I have much more to sell.
1. What do they want the buyer to give lower DSR's. They talk about 1 & 2's if so why?
2. What and where is the Dashboard?
3. Why all the changes? It almost makes someone not want to sell anymore. What ever happened to if it's not broke don't fix it.

The problem is that it is broken and they don't know how to fix it!!
Ebay doesn't understand that every time they make all these changes and sellers are having to edit all their listings (as with no insurance) this is time that the seller isn't making money and neither are they.
Your dashboard is under the Account tab in "My Ebay" and it's another way to control the seller (IMHO)
Sellers who don't get 1's & 2's on their DSR's will be rated Top Rated Sellers and have a nice banner, be higher in the search and get discounts etc. It's new to all of us but we'll see what happens.

Seller can get 1 or 2 DSR ,but it must be equal or less then 0.50% of the total.
Ebay wants to discourage the bad sellers selling on Ebay,if it works, then the good seller will sell more and make more money.

Thanks a lot. Now thanks to you ebabestreasures it is clearer. I am one that doesn't like change. I wish Yahoo was still around. It was simple and easy and I did really good. There was no policing but buyers had to be careful. Well again thanks and I will see what will happen.

hwahwa, I didn't have one deadbeat on Yahoo and neither did my friend. Sometimes, like eBay I waited for a payment but that was all. I also didn't sell high end items. I sold items that deadbeats wouldn't buy.
I know they had a lot of deadbeats and also sellers that sold that didn't have the merchandise.
I also have had no deadbeat buyers on ebay either and I have been selling for quite some time. I guess I am just lucky.
