Just got this "Power Up" newsletter in :My Messgaes: (I don't remember subscribing but never mind).

Collectibles and toys sellers! New Fixed Price listings get a boost in search results
When it comes to unique and hard-to-find items, buyers want to see the newest listings and a broad selection at the top of search results. That's why, with the upcoming changes to Best Match, Fixed Price listings in Art, Antiques, Coins, Collectibles, Dolls & Bears, Pottery & Glass, Toys & Hobbies, Stamps, Sports Memorabilia and Entertainment Memorabilia will be sorted by how recently they were listed (newest listings first)instead of recent sales or a listing performance score as previously announced. Auction-style listings will continue to get a boost when they're about to end to encourage a bidding frenzy. Of course, seller performance and item price--including shipping--continue to be important, though Auction-style listings with free shipping in any category will no longer be promoted in search. Get details on how Best Match will work in these categories, along with best practices for maximizing your exposure.http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/collectibles.html

So ... FP30 items will be seen best when first listed...?? Why list for 30 days if they will be buried?

I noticed yesterday that Google has picked up my AUCTIONS in search ...eBay must be promoting again. (searched for "merry widow postcard" without the quotes)

How interesting!

Maybe doing Fixed Price for 10 days at a time would give the listings a boost every ten days instead of 30 days.

Good news about Google.

Don't know why, but my BIN with free shipping listings - 18 days til closing show before an auction with 7 hrs. til closing, the auction seller has 100% positive feedback, I do not.

The only rule in Ebay is there is NO rule.

"though Auction-style listings with free shipping in any category will no longer be promoted in search"
What does that mean?
