It was a $399 Newegg black Friday special. I ordered one and then discovered I could save $40 buy using my Fatwallet cashback account. By the time I FINALLY got Newegg on the phone and canceled my order and then reordered they'd sold out.
I'm still mad. I want one with HDMI or VGA. I've been looking for a good price on one for a YEAR
Still looking at Lenovo. Can't make myself push that button to buy one at that price.
Only 2 brands of laptops come with connections to your TV, Acer and Lenovo. And then only SOME Acers. This was one of them
HP pavilion laptops, or at lest some of them, also come with an HDMI port standard.
I have an pavilion Dv4 with the HDMI out port and it's been a brilliant machine overall. Fantastic build quality, especially compared to the Acer I had previously (which was a great computer, but it seemed flimsy and fragile to really be used as a laptop to travel with.)
Good luck in your search, it's certainly worth taking your time to find exactly what you want at the price your willing to pay.

I have a Pavillion DV6000 with HDMI. It also came with a remote control. Makes a nice portable player for the camper when you don't have access to shore power.
