I have 7 of these. Three are Canada, the rest U.S. I've been looking for an hour on the Internet for references to these envelopes and can't find any. You'd think living in Cleveland I'd be able to find something. But, nada. Anyone have a reference for me to try on these St. Lawrence Seaway stamped envelopes? They're from the opening in 1959.

I think people find it by the Scott's number - probably not keyword search so his misspelling probably didn't affect the results. Do you also have the press clipping?

I don't have the booklet. I'm looking at some of the stamps I have here and they're pretty neat. A lot of uncancelled ones from the 1920's - 1950's. This ought to be fun. I have some full sheet stamps, too. Probably will be harder than the coin collection I sold.

Hi, fluffy! It's going quite well. I have several customers and they've been with me for over a year now. I'm going to be doing an estate sale here pretty soon for one of them who lost her mother. That will be in her mother's home. Tons of antiques. It's been quite a learning experience. I've had to learn about everything from coins to stamps to porcelain, etc. Whew. Some days it's all I do.
How are things with you and your website? I've been wanting to visit it.

He/she may have spelled Lawrence wrong, but did you see his feedback? Not a neg. or neutral in sight, and 5.0 5.0 5.0 4.9 DSR's, they are doing something right, especially with so many auctions.

Cheryl - just remember that everything that you research is important information for you in the future. I believe that knowledge is the most important tool in selling antiques and collectibles. The more knowledge you have the better your success.
Come here for help when needed. There is a lot of knowledge here as well.

I love learning this stuff! My favorite were the coins. Some of the designs alone on the old ones are beautiful. They're like mini works of art. I'm seeing that in these stamps as well.
