I have used the old SM Pro method for years and finally decided to switch to the online version... one problem though is uploading photos.

Is there a way to quickly upload all of my photos without clicking "browse" for each picture? This method is tedious when you have to load 50-200 pics.

I can't use SM Pro any longer b/c I am now using a Mac, otherwise I would load all of my photos that way.

I still use SM Pro and love it but what is the on line version? Is it different from the create a listing in Vendio?

It is Sales Manager that creates auctions online instead of offline. Unfortunately, SMPro doesn't work on Macs nor does Xpress Publisher, unless there is something I am unaware of.

It is just frustrating to upload 100 photos and have to click each one, and then hope I clicked all of them. I have already found myself trying to upload the same photo twice, and I'm sure I've even missed a few.

It just doesn't seem that Vendio is doing much in the way of progress... at least keeping up with changes. ebay has offered "free shipping" option for quite some time, but so far I only see vendio offering "free with BIN" options which isn't the same.

I still prefer to use Vendio for inventory, but even then it is very limited (4 pictures per item).

Hello,

Shagmidmod - We have supported the free shipping option on eBay for quite a while now.
If you do fixed shipping you just setup your first carrier (doesn't matter which carrier you select) and set the price as $0.00.

With Fixed or Calculated shipping you can set the shipping option to free also by using this option:

From the online Sales Manager the option looks like this:

From the offline Sales Manager Pro, the option looks like this:

For inventory management, the old classic Merchandising Edition still works (though it does have some old limits like the number of images per inventory item) - but the Inventory Edition of Sales Manager that you can switch to (no cost difference, you can switch anytime you want and bring over all of your data from the old version) does not have that limit and is a much more fully featured Inventory Management system.
Regards,
Chris

I was referring to SMPro that didn't support Free shipping. I guess I didn't clarify that very well.

Thanks for the info on the Inventory Manager. I hadn't used inventory on my other account for a few years and apparently have been using the old version this past winter. I'm glad to know about the additional features and photos.

Unfortunately, the current method of uploading images doesn't seem to change though with any of the vendio plans.

Does Vendio have a quick online bulk image loader that doesn't require us to click images individually? I know I can do up to 50 uploads at once, but it still requires selecting each one at a time. Uploading several hundred images takes anywhere from 10-15 minutes to select all of the images, where as the old SMPro method simply was selecting all the images at once and upload them. The image selection process in SMPro took all but 3 seconds. A significant difference in time management.

If not, I will likely have to turn elsewhere to create auctions in the future. Losing an hour or two a month uploading images isn't good.

I am still researching Garage Sale which integrates my images directly from iphoto. It seems to offer most of the features Vendio does, they offer free image hosting and scheduling at a significant reduction in costs. There are no monthly fees, just $34.95 to purchase it. I'm not sure about inventory management, but I am just getting my feet wet with a Mac.

Chris, You also have to zero out the shipping here:

Otherwise, it will calculate as free shipping but will show shipping charges in the listings.

Hello,

Sorry for the confusion.

Check my post above again. This IS for the Sales Manager Pro program. I will copy it here again for your reference:

From the offline Sales Manager Pro, the option looks like this:

You check that box in Pro by clicking the 'Payment Instructions and Details' button at the bottom/center of the eBay specifics tab.

---------------

Bulk uploading images - you can upload images a bunch of different ways, but if your specifically running the Mac Operating System - then the 'browse' buttons where you select your images one by one prior to uploading in mass is the only option you have - outside of dual booting into Windows (XP, Vista, 7, doesn't matter) and then bulk uploading from either Sales Manager Pro, or the Xpress Publisher or the Windows Live Photo gallery software.

Regards,
Chris

I am not a Mac user but can't you use something like this to switch between Windows and Mac so you can use image bulk uploader?
