I was looking up Royal Mememorabilia and came across this auction, with a very strange description. 110409533854
You wonder how sellers can sell so much with descriptions like this.

They have a 4.9 for descriptions. Maybe they have the answer give just about no description. I have a 4.8 and give a long description and extra photos.

Many years ago someone asked me about selling on ebay. I told them that one difference between a good seller and a bad seller is knowing what information to include and which information not to include. I still hold that to be true. This is a classic example! lol.

I noticed that he is charging extra for insurance. I thought eBay had denied us that privilege. I have seen a lot of sellers asking extra for insurance lately - has there been a change in rules?

No, I think sellers are still not allowed to offer insurance. The thing that got me about this particular auction is the spelling, even in the title, Quen instead of Queen. There really is no excuse these days with spellcheck. I always write my descriptions on a Word page, and then the spelling mistakes come up.Even if you are a good speller, it's easy to make a typo.
