I have been listing more Fixed Price items on the 10cent special (it costs us 11 cents in Canada).

I have had quite a flurry of sales so maybe this will be a good thing long term?

Another interesting point is that I have had three items sell that I had put on Auction for $9.95. They didn't sell so I re-listed them as Fixed Price and increased the price to around $18.00 with Best offer attached. They sold at full price without an offer being made.

I think we have an interesting roller coaster ride ahead over the next few months.

I just moved 3 over from my store about a week ago, just watchers so far. To be honest, my store items have done much better than my core items recently, I think people are prefering BIN. I hope so, with everthing in our stores going to fixed price, and the increase in listing fees.

I must have missed this memo?
Is the 10 cents for store items only?

It's for Fixed Price only.

.10 FP is only for people who have an ebay store. I had closed mine 2 years ago but with the free store deal until April, I have opened a store just to take advantage of the .10 FP to blow out some inventory. Will probably close out the store when they start charging for it in April.

Sales were brisk last week but have cooled this week. Not sure if it is the usual problem with search or just that time of the month.

Like amber, I think people prefer BIN.

I have run into a problem when transfering my store listings to fixed price. They also stay in more store. It's not bad for something that people would only want one of, but if I have a yarn listing for say 10 skeins, buyers will think I have 20. I guess I will have to end each auction and then relist it.

i'm getting ready to do FP on everything in one account. i've had no bids for two weeks on items. it's like a ghost town right now. during the holidays it was crazy.

I've been on vacation for 2 weeks. When I left, BIN items in core had the same search exposure as my store listings. Even with the promo, it's 10 cents vs 3 cents in store. Have things changed? Are BIN core more visible than store items?

I have been wondering the same thing Pixiamom. I have moved quite a few of my store items over to fixed price, but so far, they are not the ones that have sold, it's my store items that are doing the best.

Store items are separate again in search (at least in my view). EBay sure has us guessing what they will play with next...
