I have been trying to list items in my store, and I only have one option for putting my item in store categories. Under the first category where there is usually a second catergory option, there is a little narrow space with a drop down arrow, but nothing comes up when I click on it. I have emptied my cache, turned off my computer, but no change. Anyone else having problems?

I can't there is no option to do so. I have about 20 categories in my store, and I have always had the option to put my listing under 2 categories. I am wondering if eBay has changed that option to just one.

You may want to go back to Ebay sales manager pro and see what is happening?
I never bother to creat many categories, since individual store does not mean much on Ebay, all store items show up as BIN,unless you have a huge store with zillion of items for them to wade through

I do need different categories because I sell craft book that need to be designated. Like crochet children, knitting adults, sewing adults, or children, or home decor etc.

I thought I had found a way around it. Just go to a previous listing with the same categories and "sell similar". But when I did that, the second category showed "category 6". When I looked at my category list in "manage my store", they are not numbered, but when I counted down the list, that was the wrong number, and no way to change it.

I am wondering if eBay is messing with something. If it doesn't change by tomorrow, I will see if they will answer a phone call. BTW, if I try the SYI form on eBay.ca, it is fine, but my store is on .com.

Hello Amber,

I'm not sure what is causing the problem, but in case it is helpful I have seen a report of a similar problem on the eBay message boards. The link to the eBay message thread is:

Regards,
Nathan

Thank you Nathan, it is obviously a problem with eBay. Hopefully they will soon get it fixed. I appreciate you letting me know.
