I have four of these gorgeous belts, size small, from Saks Fifth Avenue. They're definitely belts for evening wear, I think, but is there a more glamorous word for them than "belts"? Not sure cummerbunds would work.

I'll bet there's the right word for them out there somewhere. Maybe I'll dip into a thesaurus.
Later. Well, not there either.
Main Entry: belt
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: supporting band
Synonyms: cincture, cummerbund, girdle, ribbon, ring, sash, strap, string, waistband

Maybe you should call them by the more popular search term, belts. On the Neiman Marcus or Sacs Fifth Avenue sites similar accessories are advertised as belts with a brief description.
For example, one might be called a scalloped sequin belt.

Good idea, Helen. Thanks. I suppose that sometimes I/we overthink our titles or descriptions. Maybe simpler is better.

How about day to evening dress enhancer belts?
That's what they make me think of - take a simple day dress and make it an evening dress by adding one of these belts.

Thanks again, all. I just love how creative my pals are here in Vendio. I like the "day to evening" idea, and will definitely include the word "glamour." I'll probably use the second line under the title to get it all in, but I think it'll be worth it. I'm selling all four for one price, by the way. ~Adele
