I noticed this first about a week ago...
I was cleaning up old e-mail and deciding whether to delete it.
There was an End of Auction e-mail and I clicked on the item title to refresh my memory and instead of getting the old page that said:-
Item # ...no longer is on eBay you may have the wrong number etc...or whatever they said.
NOW it takes me directly to all listings in that Category.
I like that from both a Buyer and a Seller point of view.

It was about 90 days after the Auction had ended and I really didn't need to find the listing. Just wanted to make sure that there was no pressing need for me to keep that e-mail.
I was impressed that instead of being taken to a 'dead-end' page I actually was taken to the category.
Try it out.
