i had better days last week... but business right now is consistent. i don't look forward to January 1 though. not sure what to expect after the holidays. i'm selling items that have sold before the holiday rush too... but i know the spending habits have to slow down at some point.
last year my hottest item sold strong through january 5th... then fell flat until this fall. it is a seasonal sports related item.

I was surprised but I did very well. I had arranged sales on many of my items ranging from 20% up to 50% on a few that I am sick of looking at.
It reached 12.30pm PST and I said to my DH...well, so much for cyber Monday, we have not sold a thing!
No more than 30 minutes after that we sold 11 items to one buyer. Then I had some auctions end and had a set of 12 Pewter spoons that I tried to sell last year and then put them away until September. At that time I had a Best Offer and the person didn't pay. So I had put them on 5 day auction to end last evening and they sold.....for $10 more than my offer had been! Also sold a few more items on auction so all in all I was pleased!
I am now on an official slowdown until January...I need to send Christmas Cards, prepare gifts and do some baking and don't need the additional work of EBay.
