I have subscribed to the service, altho it is easy to buy insurance on Ebay,I just found out there are more paper works when it comes to filing claim, like if item is broken, provie a third party to issue a letter saying if it can be repaired or how much etc.
also question-who gets the money,it looks the buyer does, while U-PIC is the seller and the post office,we specify.
Can anyone confirm such?

I have been insuring packages with Inkfrog and Insure Post.
On Nov 25,2011,a UK buyer bought an item from me on Ebay,I shipped the item the same day and insured with Insure Post for $1000,premium $25.
Yesterday, the buyer said she did not receive the item, which is hard to believe since it was shipped Nov 25,2011 and it is a big package, twice the size of USPS priority box.
Anyway,I filed a claim with Insure Post, and send the buyer a claim form .
The buyer has not returned the form yet,but I just found out my account with Insure Post has been closed due to underwriting decision.
I called and talked to its customer service and the lady said they cannot afford to suffer such loss.
But she said Insure Post will honor the claim,(if it does come thru, right now I am still waiting for my buyer to return the form.)
Just to let you know ,this could happen to you,now I am not sure I want to insure any packages on ebay with Shipfrog,I understand it is the same company.
