This is legitimate and worth checking, although if you have a Mac they say you are safe.

It's been on the news. Google it and you can see what they say.
Fox News says it's something that the FBI plans on doing Monday. Older computer are the biggest concern but I don't think others are exempt if you have not updated your protection in the last year or download something to infect your computer.
Hey I'm no computer geek but this sounds as if it could be serious.

Very easy to check. Go to DCWG.org click on English on the chart and you get an almost instant answer. Green means you are not infected. Best of luck. I checked my computer a month or so ago and got the green signal. Checked it again tonight just in case and got green again. Lucky me!!

0f the 4 million or so computers infected with this malware all were cleaned except 63000. The media focus was a warning to that remaining number. I found it interesting, but not unexpected that despite the effort these same 63000 are still infected today.

I saw on Canadian news that the FBI are maybe shutting down some servers to prevent the spread. So if your computer goes down, that could be the problem rather than the virus.

I am surprised that there are no eBay announcements, this could really disrupt things.

Shutting down and cleaning a server would only take a few mil-seconds we users won't even know it happened.
