I have been told by Ebay that the scrolling gallery should be moved below the description, as this is hurting my rankings because the Search engines don't like it.
Is it possible to do that?

Good question but someone from Vendio will have answer it.
I wonder if it doesn't scroll would it still lower you in the search?
