Email I received, so sweet, so sincere...
Dear ******:
105,000,000 stories and counting—that's how large
the eBay community has grown and with each member comes an inspiring story.
Today, we are thanking everyone in our community, starting with you. It's your passion that makes eBay
so great. Without you, eBay wouldn't be the unique destination it is today and we will continue evolving together for the future.
To show our appreciation, we will be featuring some
of our members' stories that make eBay such a unique place. We'll also be offering great deals and prizes for the rest of the month, plus the opportunity to pay it forward by helping us support three impactful charities.
Thank you for helping to shape the future of eBay.

I wonder...Are the people writing the happy letters real or are they made up by eBay?
Why are they thanking me I have sold or bought anything on eBay this year.

On behalf of and as an insignificant part of eBay I would like to offer Otteropp the same shallow and meaningless thank you the rest of us got.

WoW! Thank you Alldings and all my Vendio friends...I feel much better now.
I did receive a Survey in my eBay Messages today asking if I would recommend to my friends that they sell on eBay! This is the umpteenth time I have told them that no I won't and they don't seem to understand that No means No.
There was also a slightly different question asking if I had sold at any other sites in the last three months and they names Bonanza, Amazon, own Website and a few others as well as a space for 'Other'.
I think they are finally beginning to realise that they are not the only fish in the pond and that Sellers are not only looking at but now beginning to use other 'Venues'.
