Again...I've been out of the eBay world for a another chunk of time. When did these commercial ads that pop up on the right side of the listing page start? Is that why they now give free listings...so they can use part of our listing pages for their own purpose?

WOW thanks...but I've been aware of "no free lunch" for many more years than I like to think about. My question was more to the point of how long the ads have been part of the listing pages.

I've noticed them more recently. Sellers should be able to either 1) turn them off or 2) get paid for clicks... but you know eBay isn't going to give anything away.

I will opt for getting paid for clicks.
