I recently enabled the option for automatic re listing of an item that has a reserve price, not realizing the cost of listing would be considerably more than I had anticipated. I want to cancel the automatic relisting option, but can't see a way to do that. If it re-lists even once more, I would be paying the high fee again. Any solutions?

what happened to relisting once for free and paying only fvf if it sold. sorry can't help with the auto relist.
I am out out of touch with eBay. figuring my time material etc my last listings paid me 2 bucks and change per hour.

Good till cancelled does auto relist on store listings. That is easily changed to 30 days, or end listing after 29 days & relist only using 30 days for more control especially since they offer free listing promos frequently.
If the listing is for 30 days or less and you have set an auto-relist through Vendio you can turn it off by going to "Sales Manager" --> "Control Panel" --> "All Active". The listings with two green arrows in a circle to the left of them are set to auto-relist. Put a check mark in the box to the left of the listing --> click the "Set Auto-Relist" button at the top of your list of listings --> uncheck the "Auto-Relist Enabled" box and click "Submit".
As Merrie mentioned, if the listing is Good 'Til Canceled you will need to either end it through eBay or change the duration.
