Had a buyer back out of purchasing two items yesterday. Put me through the ringer with questions, then low ball offers. When I told them my bottom line, they tried to get me to include expedited shipping (the item was quite large). I told them it was via Fed Ex Ground. They finally agreed, then backed out of the transactions.

Their excuse was that their niece was in the hospital and "didn't know when they would be able to pay for it"... then a few hours later they bought a Prada purse from someone else.

Instant block from future and report. Tired of time suckers and liars.

I was just trying to see someone's past purchases and I could not see where to get that information anymore. Where did you go to get that info?
Even if I go to FB all I see is the FB - nothing to indicate what they purchased etc.

To get the buyer's past bids or purchases, click on advance search, then click sellers. Just below that you will see bidders. Click on that and insert their user name. Check completed then search and you can see what they purchased in the past month or so.
Ebay won't show any items they are still bidding on, but you can always pull up the completed bids or wins.

Thanks - at least it's still there. Ebay is way over protective of "their buyers".

Shag, I hope you let them know that you did research & know about the purchases after the "hospitalization."

Shows that the past comments that the customers that cause the most work produce the least results is still accurate.

I didn't bother letting them know. I don't want to give a buyer a reason to report me to eBay. Instead, I just blocked them. If they try to buy the same items or anything we sell, they will be blocked from doing so. Then they will probably want the item even more and contact me or use an alternate id.

My block list probably has 20-30 members on it. I usually give the benefit of the doubt, but in this situation I was annoyed by their inquiries, their low ball offers, and then them backing out after spending time dealing with it, all the while I was on the road on a buying trip.

Why would I want to do business with someone that seems like trouble after all of that?

I can see why Ebay suspended many sellers for slow shipping.
Recently I bought some low price items like filter and dvd,it must be over a week now,and no word from the seller if they have shipped ??and they are not responding to email inquiry?
