My sister got one for Christmas and I loved it.
I have an Ipad 2 but it doesn't have Siri or any voice controls.
I'm thinking of getting an Ipad mini but my question is can I dictate my ebay listing on one like I can on my smart phone. I didn't think to try with my sister's.
Also, on my Ipad 2, I got an offer the other day and saw no way to accept it. I can accept an offer on my phone - am I missing something??

Generally any iOS 7 device will work the same including Siri. We each have an iPad, mine is a 4th Gen with Siri and Cindy's is the 1st Gen iPad mini, both using iOS 7.

We have never tried to dictate a listing on an iPad or iPhone, in fact, we have never attempted to launch a listing using our devices. I just prefer using my iMac as I can open several windows and my GarageSale App to work from, so I can't answer the first question definitively, but I assume so based on iOS 7 features. I haven't been on the road where I would need to, though a few years ago we really needed to list something immediately that cost us a fortune to buy. I had a MBPro though and the only challenge was connecting to the horrible hotel internet. I ended up tethering to my cell phone's internet.

2nd, are you using the eBay app or eBay.com when you say, "I got an offer the other day?"

I find the eBay app both great and terrible at the same time. I can edit and end items very quickly, but I can't print USPS shipping labels for items from the app. I have to use the full site on either Safari or Chrome. The can be said for the Fed Ex app.

Also, whenever I edit an item in "collectibles" that doesn't require item condition, I have to update the item condition on the App.

Also, with regards to tethering... I have TMobile and use my iPhone 5 to create a personal wifi for my iPad. We had the option of 5GB with tethering or 20GB no tethering. I do use the internet on my phone, but nowhere near 5GB a month, so I chose the tethering. It has bailed me out several times while on the road when I don't want to look at my tiny phone screen.

I have an ebay app on the IPad and my phone but they are both different. I can take offers on my phone but not my IPad.

I have tethering as well - it's my only internet when we are at our vacation home, which is most of the time now. I'm with Verizon and I have unlimited data but pay $20 2 GB of tethering. I've yet to use it up and I tethering with my laptop and IPad (it's my IPad but my husband seems to use it more than I do).

I think the IPad Mini would be perfect for taking photos and doing listings. It would also fit right in my bag for research when out shopping. The IPad is just a little too big for that. But then, maybe I should just go a larger phone. So many decisions.
