Yesterday I was scrolling through my listings on my phone and noticed that some of the thumbnails started appearing as the reverse negatives again. On my computer they appear just fine. On my iPad they also appear as reverse negative. Also, some photos appear as reverse negative on my phone, while not appearing so on my iPad. It has also happened using an app with these same images. It is quite strange.
This only has happened with photos that I did not take, but came from the manufacturer of a line of products we sell. They appear fine on their website and when I download and open them on my computer.
Oddly, when I click the listing the photograph appears correctly in the listing, but people searching on mobile devices may be experiencing this problem and it is hindering sales.
I tried to upload the photos again and it still happens. I decided to edit the photos slightly, save them and relaunch which seems to have fixed it... for now.
Anyone else experience a similar problem in the past?

I have not had a problem with photos but recently I sold something while I was out. I checked my phone and it showed that the shipping was free. I did not offer free shipping. I checked my iPad and later my laptop and both showed the shipping amount.
I also noticed that if I start a listing on my phone or iPad - when I go to my laptop there are some things that I can't edit. One is shipping info - size, weight or carrier.
The ebay app on my phone recently updated and now I can't voice active searches - it defaults back to my last search. This is very annoying.

I keep all of my photos on my iMac, so I moved them into Aperture (photo editing). When I moved those photos that were doing this on eBay, they showed up on Aperture as black or bright pink thumbnails, no image. When I clicked on them, they showed the regular image.
I did some minor editing to alter the size and adjust the brightness, then saved them and changed the photos on eBay. It appears that they look fine now on my mobile device.
I was fairly certain this was not an eBay issue, but rather a photo issue, though it is odd that this was only visible on my mobile devices.
Though the company who makes these items saved the photos in jpeg, I am not sure if there was some conversion issue. The company is based in Denmark.
After reading other remarks, I am concerned about the mobile device conversion issues. It is odd that the same information is not available or is being altered.
