If you haven't already, you can now run a "Transaction Defect Report".
1) For some reason my DSR's show a low 1 or 2 in Item Description, but the report shows none in either Item Description or Shipping Time.
2) Cancelled Transaction - My most recent was a buyer in Australia who wanted something shipped that was too large. Though eBay failed to give them a shipping quote, the buyer still purchased it. Now I have a Cancelled Transaction as a defect.
3) Three Item Not Received Defects - all of them were shipped and tracking uploaded within 1 day of receiving payment. The most recent was a buyer who didn't include a complete address and it was returned to me. How is it even possible for this to count against me?
I just checked all of my emails, both on my Gmail account and eBay messaging and see no INR for one of the dates eBay shows. I have to start questioning whether this info is even accurate if I have no low DSR ratings in Item Description and Shipping Time, and no record of an INAD opened for an item.

Go to your Seller Dashboard.
When you see the pop up window "New seller performance standards" click on "download a report" located in the 3rd paragraph that starts with "Here's how you're doing..."
Click on the "Expand" in blue letters to see your most recent transactions with defects. Now you can see which items had defects unlike the DSR system.
* If you don't get the pop up window when you go to your Seller Dashboard, you may have disabled it. I am not sure how to show it again if you have disabled it.

Found it.
I have 1 defect out of 143 transactions but my percentage is 70%. What kind of math is that.
The "defect" I have was for some vintage dishes that I sold. I had many pieces that all matched. She purchases the plates and wasn't happy with the color when she got them. Another buyer was delighted. She was comparing them to other pieces she already had that must have be old new stock(never used).
Anyway shipping was so high, so I told her to keep them/donate them etc and I funded all her money. She want to send them back at her cost so I said OK. When she found out how much it would cost, she decide to just keep them and sent me a check for the full amount.
I never applied for my fees back or anything.
Crazy crazy crazy

Sales is slow everywhere,Etsy has slowed down too.
I think it has to do with the economy, businesses are still laying off people, some magazines distributor in Florida is shutting down and laying off 6000 people, banks are not getting much motrgage business or trading revenue,so will see more layoffs there.
Wholefood is selling less, you know how expensive their food is,Walmart is not selling more, ditto with Target.
If I sell 6 books in a year on AMZN,I consider it good,3 books on Barnes and Noble and 2 books on half.com

Maybe I'm brain dead but I can't quite figure out what the suits at ebay are trying to do. Is it to weed out small sellers? Is it to try to become Amazon? Do they want to become a big box outlet? I should be able to get this on my own but just can't.

I still think it has to do with them saving the discounts on FVF. It really doesn't make sense to me either. I would much rather pay a fair listing fee and FVF and forget about all these free listing & discounts.
