Opal Jennings is from the DFW metroplex and I've got a little bit of an update on the posted info. Opal's abductor was caught and confessed to kidnapping her. He was arrested and questioned and I believe he is still in jail now under unrelated charges. He never confessed to having killed her, although based on his character and background of being a child predator, scumbag, lowlife I'd say he didn't "release" her as he claims. I haven't kept up with this case (or much other news) lately, so he may be out of jail now. I know that they never got a confession though. The sad thing is that she probably was killed and this idiot won't tell her grandparent's where he put her body so that they can give her a proper burial.

I pray that she is alive. I just saw her face with those eyes and I could not think that anyone could hurt that child. I know there are people like that. I can not imagine that they are human. I felt compelled to post it. Not sure why. That is all that I can do.

I just found this so it is probably pointless:

JT I just went to the Outlook and located the original thread - I didn't realize that Opal's picture had been posted there and was a little surprised by the responses.

Of course, you know you've done the right thing because if this were our child we would move heaven and earth to find her, wouldn't we? Opal's grandmother would be so uplifted to know that someone who didn't even know Opal is reaching out to help her in whatever way possible. Could there be anything more tragic than not knowing where our children or grandchildren are? My husband and I have watched families go through this and it is a nightmare beyond belief. You did what your heart told you to do and I think you're wonderful for doing it.

jt, You are so welcome. Thanks for posting the original thread. Some people just don't get it. Hope they find this little girl, and that she is OK.
