My kids are all grown up so I am really enjoying these pictures of all of your kids...after all they are what makes Christmas what it is. Makes me wish mine could be small again if only for one day.

Hate to be a Grinch, but please keep your kids' pictures off the internet. It's a realm full of freaks and not a place to be posting the precious faces of your little ones.

Far less dangerous than taking them to the grocery store, or the PO, or school or the front porch of your home, etc. etc. etc.

I hate to be mrs grinch, but I have to agree with spaz. Dangerous to put their pics on a board. Spaz isnt just whistling dixie about it. Hes right
But the thought was good.

I started this thread to celebrate Christmas.
The purpose of this thread is not to debate the issue of safety on the Internet. I am sure that parents who may choose to post pictures do so after careful consideration.
Thanks.

I am sure that parents who may choose to post pictures do so after careful consideration.
How are you sure? And even if their consideration is careful, perhaps their decision to post the pictures stems from a false sense of security. Or maybe they're just uninformed.
The question is, do you feel good knowing that anyone can come along, copy your kid's picture to their hard drive, and do what they will with it? Maybe repost it on a freak site. Maybe print it out for their own private collection?
I'm sorry if this flies in the face of your "celebrate Christmas" thread, but the freaks don't take a holiday, my friend.

Oh, brother. Sure there are "freaks" out there--all kinds of 'em. Can't see that anyone is better off, though, by curtailing their own lives because of that. Life isn't worth living if you go around in constant fear of what someone, somewhere, *might* do...

Moderator - please lock this thread.
Apparently someone believes that they are more concerned for our children than we are and are not going to let this rest.
Spaz - I feel terrific but you better get busy.
There are some hundreds of millions of pictures of children on the internet. Best go save them from their ignorant parents.
Thanks to everyone who shared.
Merry Christmas.
