Just filled up Friday at 1.16! Haven't seen that low a price for quite some time. Made me wish I could stock up!
It didn't last long; today most stations are 1.33 but a few Speedway stations are 1.25.
I'm in NE Ohio.

Please discuss the topic, and not an individual. Besides, the price I qouted was like $1.39 - looks like a lot of other folks are paying alot less than we are. Now I'll ask the question again; who do we blame for the much lower gas prices? We all know who everyone blamed when they were high. I still haven't gotten an answer.

Mine haven't dipped even slightly. The blame lies squarely with the evil powers that be.

Between approx. $1.60 & $1.90 per gallon at the majors. Don't know about the discount places as it's not worth it to me to drive around looking for lower prices. (I only use a tank of gas each 2 weeks)
This is in the Western U.S., near California

I think I'll go to Al's gas station...that price seems to beat all the others....as long as one doesn't have to give up the first born son to get that wonderful price. What year was gas that low?
So..our Canadian neighbors are paying right around $3.00 a gallon and I believe European countries pay that or more. Guess my $1.41 price isn't so bad after all.

When I was living in Western Europe in the mid 70's I remember how everybody here was crying about how gas prices were going to exceed $1 per gallon. Of course, everybody thought that was just hogwash! Meanwhile, over there we were paying well over the equivalent of $1 per gallon. Amazing! I remember a time when you could buy less than $1 of gas & have enough to last you a few days...Wo, back to reality!
