Responding to questions about his difficulties in presenting his missile defense system abroad. Bush said that it's "hard to sell vague notions".

Maybe he should have Dr. Strangelove by his side?

Yes, the use of vague notions, fuzzy feelings, or "instincts" is right down the Strangelove alley. An inept US President and Dr. Strangelove is just what the world needs. LoL!

That man is an embarrassment. If we must have an idiot for President, couldn't we make sure he stays at home?

Seems like someone publishes a paperback containing the exceptionally brain-dead utterances of each major political figure to come along. I suspect for W they'll have to do a 12 volume set.

Come on!! Some people think this all might be his strategy. He acts really useless and stuff at first, and then at the last second, he makes some brilliant decision that floors everyone.

Boy, if he makes a move like that, won't we all be stymied!?!

Maybe stymied, but he'd be perplexed wondering how it could have happened. Monkeys can type, given enough time.

Actually, Koko might do as well or better...from the koko.org site:

During the course of the study, Koko has advanced further with language than any other non-human. Koko has a working vocabulary of over 1000 signs. Koko understands approximately 2,000 words of spoken English. Koko initiates the majority of conversations with her human companions and typically constructs statements averaging three to six words. Koko has a tested IQ of between 70 and 95 on a human scale, where 100 is considered "normal."

Here's my suggestion for regaining and maintaining the prestige of the United States: When republicans -- somehow, win a Presidential election, we actually leave the office vacant; that is, there is no president to embarrass us at home or abroad. Since Dubya is nothing more than a puppet, why bother to go through with the motions? We'd be better off just to have cardboard cutout taped to the chair in the Oval Office, than to have a live idiot running around showing how stupid a political party and its supporters can be.

This supposed democracy that we are ruled by has grown from serving the people to becoming a parasite upon the people.

The poor slob is SO DUMB that, as soon as it LOOKS like he might win a victory of ANYKIND, aside from going weewee without help, his own people have to rush in with stupid statements such as "GW" WIN HUGE VICTORY...", but totally omit to mention that it ALL has to be filtered through Senate, which is rather tough these days ....

Borillar - LOL! Why not have a real puppet? You could have whoever's telling him what to say for that day behind some curtain, making his mouth move and stuff. When diplomats drop in, all the controller-person has to do is make him smirk and shift his eyes back and forth, while not looking at the person(s) he's with.

Things would make more sense this way.

edited to add:

Sorry Borillar.....I didn't mean to say that your idea wasn't a good one.....I just think, in due time, someone might catch on. If he was animated to some degree, I think you could get away with it.
