A coworker of mine wrote this, I thought I'd share:

As the sun rises, and we start our busy day
Never a thought enters our mind, terror's coming our way
As havoc strikes, we all hear the cries
If only we had more time, to say our goodbyes
Never understanding how such a tragedy could happen
The anger we felt to know they were cheering and Laughing
Some tears have fallen in pain and sorrow
Some have fallen, fearing what will happen tomorrow
Sons, daughters, husbands, and wives
Firemen, Policemen, have all lost their lives
Bowing our heads in a moment of silence
Vowing as Americans, to put an end to the violence
Although the victims will not be forgotten
We're coming to get you, Osama Bin Laden
When that time comes and we know we have won
The healing begins for September 11, 2001
