Is there any topic or subject that would be unarguable? Is it possible that there is something in which we have universal agreement? I’m not sure that such a thing exists in the real world and I am reasonably certain that it would be impossible in the Round Table.
Anyone want to advance a candidate? All candidates will be immediately disqualified as soon as someone posts an argument as to why it isn’t unarguable.

Well, it is unarguable that we all will die. Of course, what is arguable is what, if anything, happens after death.

You make a good assumption, Irene, that we will all die. That's similar to the safe assumption that the sun will rise tommorow. It comes from all observable evidences and experiences yet still we do not know either of those things to be true with 100% certainty.

Come on James..... I need you to step up to the plate on this. Are you just offering the opinion that those are assumptions or are you arguing that they are not proven facts. Disqualification hinges on your response.

Ironically I'm forced to argue the use of the word "unarguable." It's not a word. The word you want is inarguable.

Disqualified!
Edited to add: Interesting (well OK, interesting to me) that the American Heritage Dictionary lists both unarguable and inarguable with identical meanings. However, Roget's Thesaurus only listed inarguable. Be that as it may, I use the only unarguable reference in the world - Microsoft Word's spell check says it is O.K. So there!

bunnicula: Don't argue with me, I was just agreeing with spaz so as not to have to argue with the spazmeister.
I guess that statement I made could be argued successfully, should one wish to argue it, however, that in and of itself is arguably undetermined as yet to be decided if the arguing of such would be worth arguing over.
I guess I can't argue with that, or I would undoubtably be arging with myself, and as past arguments prove, I cannot argue successfully with myself, for I will always lose.
