How does one go about winning favor with the moderators here so as to be on equal footing with some of the more combative posters?

I was trying to decide which of your two threads to answer ... then I saw your question and realized it didn't mattter which one I chose because both of them will probably be deleted.

One solution to your problem is to email any concerns or questions to the moderators and communicate with us.

For the most part we don't bite.

This thread will now be locked because issues involving moderations are to be taken to email.
