It will be interesting to see if their writers will
satire any of the resent events of our world..?
The season premiere is weekend... I did read that
there will be a serious acknowledgment at the beginning
of the show...
I feel I could use a good laugh these days...
I just hope they don’t piss me off...I like that show..
guess we will soon see...

The entertainment industry is really in a quandry over how to handle their humor. So far what little I have watched was done well.
Very difficult when so much is based on political and world satire.
I'm with you, I need a laugh.....but, they better be careful! Gee that ought to help 'em be funny!!

It must be very difficult to be an entertainer in the USA right now--you'd better walk the walk and talk the talk or your sponsors will get a barage of calls demanding for your cancelation.
Some of the best skits on SNL have been political pokes at the current President of whatever time---Bush is definitely off-limits right now.
