Hi Jess, well now ya know me I am the one who always gets in trouble around here, right Michelle?  How is everyone? Wow... I have missed you guys. I am still not able to put anything into words yet really...(Rocker - speechless? Hmmmm mark down this date) but I wanted to say hi and say how happy I am that everyone is okay and THANK YOU to all those who sent me email and checked on me and stuff. I was pretty much in shock and not able to communicate so well, but I was very very happy to hear from you all and I'm just glad we're all ok NEW YORK CITY ROCKS WHOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! (In more ways than one)

Gravid our mate Jan is coming to Australia where it is safe, I am kicking my oldest out so that Rocker has a little house to live in and it is right beside my house. LOL

Hi Gravid! I am really fine, thanks so much, sweetie, I don't need anything. My apartment is actually 8 miles from WTC and there is no damage up here. My place really did smell of smoke pretty badly for the first week or so, depending on which way the wind was blowing. I did have friends down there but everyone is okay, considering. More on that later. It is very strange behind my building where the train platform is. You used to see the WTC from there. No more. There is a big space now which is a strange combination of emptiness... and yet unbelievable strength. Hard to describe in words.

Words don't work real well, but our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone touched by this horrible event.
We have to go to calling hours Friday evening for my oldest son's girlfriends uncle. He was one of those killed at the Pentagon.

I have to go start my day already - yes I am still sitting around in sweat pants with my hair all stickin out. After my shower I will be sitting around in leather with my hair still all stickin out.

Sorry - that has to give you a bad feeling when you look down there and it won't have anything there for a long time. We have friends across the bridge in Brooklyn and they put people up that night who walked across the bridge after it was closed to vehicles and they had no way to get home. They took sandwiches down to the local firestation that is close and said the guys were all shook up there because even that night they were pretty sure they had lost 9 from that station. I take it you were not too close when things went down since you are here?
