Today was our 24th wedding anniversary.
We have just got home after a terrific evening with family and friends.
Earlier in the day we just enjoyed being together in the nearby hills.
I'm glad to say that we are both as much in love as when we were first married. Still silly enough to hold hands and give each other a cuddle.
I won't pretend that we haven't had some blazing rows and cool periods, but making up is something special.
Perhaps by todays standards we are a bit old fashioned, but you know what, I couldn't care less!
Next year will be the big one, the 25th milestone, but you know what, every day is a milestone, and it's a happy mile to walk.
I hope you all find as much happiness as we have together.

Congratulations on your anniversary! Don't worry about being "old fashioned"!
We're coming up on our 25th next March. We are also silly enough to hold hands, and have had some ups and downs as well. That is what makes it interesting.

CONGRATULATIONS! i am wearing a big smile now because we just had our 24th and feel the same way as the two of you do. we are lucky and everyday we realize that a little more.
and being old fashion is wonderful.

Congrats - keep doing what ever you are doing so well. We are coming up on 29. Don't know how she stands me but oit works.

Bob I hope you and your wonderful wife have many, many more years of shared happiness.
Are you planning a cruise for the biggy next year.......silver that has to be worth something extra special, or a trip to Daintree. That is where we are heading for our 25th in a couple of years.
