Any suggestions for firewall software for home use? I'd been ignoring this subject for a long time, thinking it wasn't applicable to me, but after venturing to some hacker websites out of curiosity, I'm paranoid like never before.

Thanks in advance for you input (on the firewall, not the paranoia).

If you want to get even more paranoid... read about the newest virus. It eats firewalls.

I took the security check test on that page... I'm not sure how to interpret it but I think it said I'm screwed.

"Firewall software" is just another software package open to attack. Many of the jerks distributing viruses, etc, see it as a challenge and every package has some viruses that target them specifically. If you are on a cable modem or dsl get a HARDWARE firewall. The price is practically the same as many of the software packages anyway.
