In a speech today, Bush stated that it would be over his dead political body before Democrats raised taxes on Americans.
The Democrats replied with a collective, "HUH?"
Bush then clarified himself, saying that anyone who is against his tax cuts is FOR tax hikes! I wonder what jackass political analyst thought that one up for him to use? Another Big Lie, told Louder and Longer to BASH the Democrats, while turning around and BASHING them for being partisan on this issue.
How many Americans will fall for the lies, I wonder ...

Actually what he said was that it would NOT be over his dead body. You have to listen closely but that's what he said. I guess he doesn't have to be dead then for it to happen.

kaysan, well I voted for Clinton and I would do it again. They all lie don't they? However, it sure makes a difference what lies are told and how it affects the country. The Bush baby will slither away just like his daddy.

Hi bunz, don't you worry, a snake is a snake it runs in the family.
America is in denial because of 9/11, and still scared. Do you see how his ego has inflated? Well, that's one of the things that will hurt him in the future. We still have time to just sit back, but when the time comes all that voiced their negative opinions about Bush and his tactics will come forward. I'll be at the head of that line, and will do all I can to get the snakes out of the garden.

Choco I know what you mean. I thought my protesting days were over years ago but we were talking about that today and realized that we may have to get out there and do just that again. Not just for this but maybe even protest the WTO. Have you seen what Monsanto is doing? ARGH. I don't want the world run by giant corporations. If everyone did consume goods at the level Americans do can you imagine the damage to the Earth?Scary proposition. The Earth wouldn't last 5 years with billions of people consuming at this level.

"And you probably voted for Bill and Hillary. Lord knows they never told a lie!!!"
That's not the point. The point is that Republicans - both politicans and voters were busy wagging their fingers from their High Horses at Bill and Hillary and their suporters for years, jeering at them, and singing like kids on the playground: "Clinton - Told - A - Lie-EYE! Clinton - Told - A - Lie-EYE!" like a mantra; as if no President ever had before. That sickening self-righteousness came to it's logical conclusion when Bush, Jr. ran for President. Who didn't hear Republicans saying,"I'm voting for Bush becuase I want someone MORAL in the White House. I want someone who ISN'T A LIAR!" And so I take every opportunity that I can to point out Bush's lies and misdeeds and shove it back down their self-righteous throats!

Well this ranks up there with daddy bush's "read my lips, no new taxes" slogan. Gosh things are almost falling in place just like 10 years ago. Dumbya earns his name everyday.

Welcome back! I haven't seen you for quite a while.
You are the former Republican who now appreciates George Bushes's lack of brain matter. Right?

Oh yeah I made a big mistake last year lol. Let me say they will NOT happen again. Once people stop with this flag frenzy they will realize how bad the economy is. I had to laugh at people buying up all the American flags which were made in communist China. It was in my paper wal-mart the biggest anti worker corporation ordered millions of flags for $1.00, and sold them for $15.00 and up. Typical republican corporation.

blairwitch, for me, I think that the vendor should price the commodity at whatever the market will bare. However, certain things do not fit that category. Like Academic institutions, for instance. What kind of asinine insanity is it that colleges and universities charge as much as they can get away with? That to beomce a doctor it costs one-half million dollars nowadays and the price of a simple community college education is completely priced far out of what poor people can afford. That any community college charges anything is a shock: their purpose is to bring education to the masses, particularily the impoversished, that they should charge thousands of dollars per year because they can get away with it is just plain wrong. And Academics is just one area where charging what the market will bare is completly wrong. Medicine is another area, and to some extent, insurance IMO.

Unfortunately, when someone has to resort to personal attacks to express their point of view, it means that they really have nothing worthwhile to say and are wasting everyone's time with their posts. Should internationalgolf ever have anything of substance to contribute, I doubt that it'll be about anything that matters.

Actually, I'm very surprized. To ask for a credit card as ID before being allowed to post in here was certainly a sure-fire way to get rid of the cretins. I am surprized that the centrist-to-left wing stayed here and the conservatives split. I expected it to be the other way around, or worse, only those with fluff to post would be left. I guess if there's going to be a revolution coming out of AW again, the American Secret Police - OHS will know who we all are.
