The local cable provider, ATT Digital, has the nerve to ask $4.00 to watch a film about the making of a film! A documentary about the making of the Matrix sequel is being offered on Pay-per-view!

We don't HAVE cable - I know, I know, we live in a cave and eat roots with dirt on them and small boney animals - but what is on there that is worth $30 or $40 a month? Our local cable sends these ads out that shows a bum in a t-shirt who needs a shave and is swilling beer - and suggests that if you are too stupid to buy cable you can't count money and are hopelessly stupid. I should give money top someone that insults me? I don't have much time to see the free stuff. There are troo many really worthwhile things to do rather than sit in front of the one eyed monster.

On movies about the making of movies: The documentary on the making of Fitzcaroldo (?)
is an excellent film/drama in itself.
