Hi, I hope someone can help me. I got a new computer at work and when I connect to the internet the address bar is not there. I have looked everywhere but it's lost. I can't even find the taskbar up top that has the refresh, back and forward icons. Help! Barbara

I've got XP and mine has always been there. Did you try right clicking in the file bar area and seeing if the Address bar has a check next to it? Maybe you need to click on that.
I'm nearly usless here but that's all I can think of.

Hi Rawbunzel, I have clicked everywhere and I'm starting to think it's an IE thing instead of Windows XP. Tomorrow I'm still going to try clicking where it should be. Thanks for your replies. Barbara

It is IE. If you have the bar across the top that shows File Edit etc. if you right click in the blank space after those things the info you need is there. It does work!
Also try right clicking in the task bar tray [the thing in the lower right hand corner of your computer screen where the time is located...I think that's what it's called. ...] the toolbar shows up there too.
Good luck.
