There are a few popular people on TV that can read the minds of your pets, talk to your dead relatives and tell you about your past & future. Does anyone here believe in any of this?

Lots believe. Personally no. Lots believe they may haul all those guys back and not have a war in Iraq.
Lots believe the government is going to help them.
Lots believe priests, newsmen, and lawyers.

No. None of it. It is, as TV always states, it is just "Entertainment".
It is possible for people to have real empathy with animals and to understand their unspoken needs. One doesn't need to be a psychic to be able to do this -- just a willingness to reach out and to put yourself in their paws for a moment. Those who are able to do that can easily read the body language that animals give out, but can do so much more in-depth due to their tremendous empathy for the animal.
But "Psychic"? Naw!

No, the ones on TV are full of it.

From some insiders to the Jon Edwards show...
A hour show takes 2-3 hours to film. It is purely based upon audience response and absolutely no psychic ability at all. And some segments are cut-and-pasted to make it look like he was getting it right. And the experienced skeptics that show up and make him look like an idiot are cut out of the show. The experienced skeptics will go in and "react" to his barrage of questions and finish off with "it been great what you have been telling about me for the last ten minutes, but I have no idea what you are talking about. It is not even my name."

Right after you posted this thread they "did" Jon Edwards on SOuth Park. You the method is really simple, you just have to have the attitude.
Oh Yeah, Jon Edwards won "Biggest Douche in the Universe" on the show.

Skeptical...yes. I do not believe the people on TV can talk with the animals as they say they do.[Half the animals are sleeping when they are supposedly getting information from them!]
On the other hand I do believe that people can communicate with animals...the "horse whisperer" for one. What that man does is amazing and does not appear to be put on.
