It has begun. All the petty agravating,
Exhausting,Time consuming BS.Little things go wrong,Words misunderstood,Appliances on the

Problems with cars.Computors get an attitude.
I don't read the daily horoscopes,But do keep
Up with certain alignments,That may cause
Some problems or slowdowns.Others who keep up
With this planetary configuration,Will tell you,Don't start any new paperwork,Old paperwork ending during this time is fine.Mercury in retrograde will be around for
30 days,It will wan around the mid of July.
When it wans,It grows weaker. And you can sigh,A little relief.I was out a 100.00 bucks on the air conditioner yesterday,Im not mad at what it cost me,(The unit is 2 years old)
Im mad because I could have fixed it!!Loose

Little more carefull in your dealings.

Thanks for the info, junquemama. Although it'll be hard to tell the retrograde-related setbacks from my regular dysfunctional state, I'll look forward to mid-July.
Nice of you to award krs the extra two bits. This means that Jerry Lee Lewis' flourescent alien offspring, who've been donated to the cause, have to net just $5.01 to restore his inheritance. I'm so glad.

I think of them as the Olsen twins myself Pareau, although perhaps their paternity perhaps included gene splicing at one point involving both the Olsens and Jerry Lewis.
It'll be a benefit auction, I'll throw in free shipping to the buyer, and it might even go over the $5.01! Just think, krs, could retire in even better circumstances than before.
I'm gonna rummage through my stuff and see what else I can add to the auction.

This is truly an admirable project and though I usually only contribute to local needy causes, I have already shipped a case of snuff westward by UPS and will bid on the benefit dolls that LOL is so generously contributing to the Cause.

Hi Stockticker!
I'm having second thoughts about bidding on the auction. I'm not sure that it has been sanctioned by the official OAI secret oversite committee on charitable auctions. It's my understanding that there is a rather involved procedure beginning with an FBI investigation of potential donors, recipients, bidders, and casual onlookers.

Save your snuff, Antiquary, for by

you make clear that you are, or should be, supporting the entire populace of your home state.

I was wondering when my super-secret high priority X-file investigation was going to begin. After the recent scandals in the OAI world bidders are demanding committee oversight of my benefit auction. The three high commissioners of AW, I believe those were Pareau, Antiquary and ??? (my memory fails me) have kindly consented to provide such oversight and prepare a written report. Aforementioned report shall be published on all pertinent boards within ten days of the end of the auction and must include an analysis of all funds obtained, spent and transmitted. In addition, seller and buyer shall under no circumstances communicate directly with each other to forestall any sad personal statements or strange events. All communication must take place through the committee only, preferably via transmitted telepathic thoughts from the hidden antenna on the back of the Olson troll-twins head, currently not visible due to the disguising blond wigs. Shipping is via Cancer Man's black helicopter service only as delivery is guaranteed by my man Cancer Man.

Flakers, remember to note in the terms that a nominal handling fee may apply, due to the extraordinary circumstances.
Let me know when your memory serves up The Third Man.

Hi VeryModern!
actually Cancer Man is a character in the X-Files TV show, he smokes Morley cigarettes and actually has Cancer so it's a literal name. Sometimes they call him Cigarette Smoking Man. No one knows his real name although he is purported to be Mulder's father.

yes I Veryscrewed up because I totally forgot the title of the thread and initial topic had to do with Astrology, I apologize to verymodern.
Well it is Monday and I'm never awake on Mondays. Just one of my policies.

...and wants to add her Mercury Retch comments..
A positive spin on Mercury retro is this.
Imagine you have this fast this communication planet spinning spinning spinning forward faster and faster and faster and it starts to get a little sloppy. Loose ends begin to be spun off and left behind, this or that detail gets dropped. If left to rock on unchecked, results would eventually become disastrous, and so periods of Mercury retrograde to the rescue.
You may plod against the tide if you wish.
If you wish to work with the universe, this is the time to go back and dot i's, cross t's, and repair mistakes. Made a poor purchase? Return it during Mercury retro. Postponing getting your car fixed? Not any more.
Mercury ruled Virgos and Gemini (Sun, Moon, or especially those with these signs Ascending) are most impacted since communication and running to and fro are their domain. The tend to get very nervous, but should strive to realize this is necessary down time to CONSOLIDATE before the next sprint. Sounds easy on paper, tougher in RL.

Gosh, Flakers, don't prostilate yourself. (I'm sticking "prostrate" and "castigate" together, just to annoy The Ken.) I was glad for the explanation of Cancer Man, since I'm not an avid X-Filer and wouldn't otherwise have known.
Did you know that "Monday" was the original day of rest? It was called "Narcolepday," but everyone was too tired to call it anything but "mmmmday" before falling asleep again, and it stuck. I'm glad to see you honor the traditions, Flakers.

I'm quite happy prostilating myself right now thank you, and don't interfere. I always have a good nap afterwards.

VeryModern, this is exciting! My life is nothing but loose ends! It means now is the time to finish everything. I won't BEGIN any projects, but I'll be able to square away a lot of half-dones. I can work with this one. Maybe you and junquemama can give us views on other astrological things, too. We need all the help we can get down here, crouched under the table.

can you tell me when mercury went into retrograde.?
Mr. Nobs just found out he needs 1700.00 of repairs on his van which still has 3 payments left on it. he thought it was an A/C clutch and it was much more and also some other stuff.
My daughter had a car accident several weeks ago (she is fine) and we recently (last week) helped her get a new (used) car and I am hoping that THIS TIME, all will go well.
I have also been under a "bad period" - so I was wondering when Mercury went into retrograde?
posted on June 19, 2000 10:58:12 AM new
Nobs, If my life is any kind of indicator I would say that Mercury has been in retrograde for the last five years. If my crystal ball is correct it will continue in retrograde [for me] for at least the next five years. Unusualy long retrograde period but a crystal ball simply cannot be wrong!

lol, I know the feeling! I hope everything is looking bright for you soon. I have a feeling, though, there are lows and then there are real LOWS, and there may be something to this Mercury in retrograde stuff. It does help to put an explanation to some of this, I hate just thinking that life sux
affirmation comes from within ...
not at the expense of another.

nobs - since junquemama seems to have stepped out - Mercury will go retro June 24th and then turn direct July 18th. It will be in it's shadow (still shaking off the cobwebs, gaining momentum) until August 1.
