So they support gays but not marines?

Yep, that sounds like a French company all right.

ho hum, another forwarded email, replete with misinformation...why do so many otherwise intelligent people insist on believing word for word all the dreck that gets shuffled around the internet? Target is hardly a "French owned corporation". Here are it's particulars, including major individual and corporate shareholders. It's a Minnesota Corporation, which began life as Dayton-Hudson, and also owns Marshall-Field and Mervyn's, so you'd better not shop there either...

regarding Target's support of veterans, before you began contributing to the bandwidth drought, you might have wanted to read Target's community giving pages, which contain quite a bit of actual information.

Of course, it's easier to just hit "forward to all", isn't it

Hi MAH645 - We've all been 'stung' by these emails. Not knowing if they're true or false. Just like you wondered by using a "?"

A good way to check them out for yourself is to use
http://www.snopes.com. There you can type in 'key words' and see if it's so.

After looking on Google, looks like they have been a target for quite some time. I was thinking they were maybe owned by Marshal-Fields at one time,so was Iveys.
