I can't wait till it's over , Helen. Tomorrow night, around this time, I'll be happier than a clam. How are you holding out??

My big plans for tomorrow, the day after Christmas, are to take down all the decorations and get my house back to semi-normal (you cannot call an eBay house normal). Well, those are my plans after Ken and I put my granddaughter's desk together. We just didn't have time today. A normally 20 minute drive home from my mother's took us almost 40 because of the snow that's been coming down for 2 days. It's exhausting.

Thanks. On the bright side - it's going to be 53 and sunny on Sunday. What is it with this crazy weather?
You aren't the only one that's happy it's over. I can almost hear the shouts echoing through the city.
Speaking of "city" and Christmas. We got a letter from the city requesting donations to take down all the Christmas lights. Can you imagine? They could afford to put them up and now they cannot afford to take them down. Bah, humbug. Let them stay up all year. Downtown will just resemble most of the houses lining the streets of the innercity - old worn out Christmas lights up through the summer. Hey, the city could light them for the 4th of July saving on the cost of fireworks.

Hey, I come all the way over here to give you holiday greetings, and you're all hum bug. So, I guess I'll wish you a thank goodness it's over.
I'll be back to wish you a Happy New Year. I think we'll all be happy this year is over. See ya next week.
