The following is a list of people who should not vote republican this year.

Anyone paying more for gas and health insurance.

Anyone who is working harder for less money and benefits.

8.2 million unemployed.

4.3 million without health insurance.

1.63 million who declared personal bankruptcy last year.

138,000 soldiers in Iraq under false pretenses and with no firm plan to come home.

Any parent with a child whose school funding was cut along with the "No Child Left Behind Act."

Anyone who likes clean air and water.

I think you have misplaced the decimal point for the uninsured, I think it is 43 million.

But all the other figures are enough to make you vote for Kerry.

Thanks Reamond for setting the posted numbers straight. Your right it is 43 million without health insurance. So far I haven't seen anyone trying to dispute these numbers. Looks like a lot of people on this board are trying to hide from the truth.

You forget that millioniare ambulance chasing lawyers like John Edwards increase the cost of health care. Who do you think paid for Edwards' millions? We did, through higher health insurance costs. Lawyers like Edwards are bloodsucking parasites.

Hello, indeed it is 43 million people without health insurance. My mistake about the decimal point.

blairwitch, I also noticed a lack of bush/cheney bumper sticker. Last time around they were all over the place.

Less than 1% of health care costs have anything to do with malpractice suits.

But instead of insisting that incompetent doctors lose their licenses, the neocons want lawyers to stop suing them.

And if they didn't get the money from the lawsuits, then who would pick up the tab for the injured and disabled caused by negligent doctors ? The taxpayers would.

Ebayauctionguy, Since you know so little about how the court system works. I will gladly take a little time and teach you. First like Reamond just said law suits only add 1% to the cost of health care cost in this country. Second, John Edwards didn't award one penny to anyone. John Edwards job was to lay out the evidence to a jury and judge that his client was wronged. The judge and jury awarded his clients money not John Edwards.

So now I hope you better understand how the systems works and will stop being a stupid, narrow minded, greedy person. I hope you stop being a liar to yourself and other people like your failed party's leaders are doing. You can improve yourself and the country by joining the winning team of John Kerry and John Edwards.

greedy person

This sums it up nicely for the moronic left... they really don't give a rats ass about anyone, they are just jealous because they are too lazy, stupid and incompetent to advance in life, so wants the government to hand them everything they haven't earned on a platter to them, so those who have worked and made something of themselves can't reap the rewards they attained.

peepee it is hard to believe you're any kind of a business owner...

AIN'T LIFE GRAND...

Re-Elect President Bush... the only true choice.

Now about greedy people that are heartless and self centered. I am at war with people like that. You are right I don't really give a rats ass what they think. I believe those type of people are Anti-American. Using a word you came up with I'm out to "peepee" all over them.

IF YOU WANT AMERICA THE WAY IT IS NOW. YOU SHOULD VOTE REPUBLICAN ALONG WITH TWELVETOES FOR HIS FAILED LEADERS BUSH/CHENEY.

IF YOU WANT A BETTER,STRONGER AMERICA YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR JOHN KERRY AND JOHN EDWARDS.

Just heard on the radio the other day that the biggest contributor to health care costs rising is doctor's wages.

So:

A. They better be perfect and not make mistakes. They are paid not to make mistakes.

B. They can afford insurance.

C. If they make a mistake THEY and their INSURANCE companies should have to pay. If they don't what do you do with the people who have been injured by them.

The DEAD ones are easy...you just bury those and the good doctor goes on with his life.

But the maimed must be taken care of.....shouldn't the one responsible have to pay!

You neocons have a sorry history of shoving responsibility for your actions off on others!

Well Well!

EAG does it again. Making more nonsensical comments just might land you in the Guinness Book of World Records.

I have a police scanner. About a week ago, I heard something on it that I rarely hear. It was the report of a truck driver who was driving in such an erratic manner several other motorist called the sheriff on him. The sheriff's dispatcher said the callers indicated the trucker was speeding and was weaving from side to side of the pavement on the interstate. Finally, when the deputies were able to stop him, they found he was drunk. They arrested him and asked the dispatcher to find a towing company that would be able to tow a fully loaded semi truck and trailer with a weight of 44,000 pounds. Can you imagine what that wieghted truck would have done to any car, truck, or SUV that it came into contact with?

Now, if EAG or anyone from his family was hit and injured, maimed, or killed by this trucker, I bet he would be the first to bring a suit against the trucker, and his employer for appropriate damages.

It has nothing to do with being greedy. It has everything to do with being compensated for something bad that has happened to you. In many cases, the injuries are permanent and can't be reversed or made better in any way. The result is money damages for the injured party.

I stand behind doctors 100 percent. However there has to be a system of accountability for those having power over others. In this case the courts and the lawyers are the answer.
